1. Monday

With the start of the week, most of us still have that weekend hangover.  I usually would go for a full face makeup along with a corporate wear work look to welcome a productive week. Try not to overdo it by sticking with nude lips, this tells me that you came prepared but you’re not necessarily intimidating anyone. Play up with the eyes a little bit go plum or bronze but nothing over the top, make sure to coat your lashes with mascara and to give your face a bit of contouring for a more polished look. If you need more information on how to contour, I have just the right inspiration for you here.

Well, there’s a study saying that Tuesday’s the most terrible and depressing day of the week, maybe because on the second day of the work week, you realize how much work there is to be done. So, to help lift up spirits, I suggest a bold lip color. The key is balance on this, you’re not going to a party so if you keep the look subdued enough you should be good to go. I like to pair bright red lips with just a mascara, but orangey brown colors need to be complimented with eyes that are on the same color spectrum, thinly line your eyes with a liquid eyeliner and continue doing a full face and you should be pretty ready for whatever Tuesday brings.

3. Wednesday

Wednesday the middle of the week. And as described by the Urban Dictionary as the hump day because a few days after it, is the weekend. Wear your power dresses in neutrals and command authority without looking intimidating. A winged liner for the middle of the week is just enough of a hint of fun to anticipate the weekend fun. I normally progress to more simplistic makeup looks towards the weekend because the work atmosphere tend to be a bit more laid back towards these days.

4. Thursday

It’s almost Friday but don’t let go of your work focus just yet, keep to a simple, natural looking makeup look paired with a button down blouse and trousers. I like filling in the eyebrows, putting on mascara, and just a bit of blush and stain on my lips.

5. Friday

The day we’ve all been waiting for! Here we want our work look to be a bit more laid back to welcome the weekend.  An easy cool attire to end your work week! The time where we can rest our lovely heels and put on your messy bun. Take a look at some of your favorite celebrities rock a variety of messy hair buns.

As for your makeup look, I recommend natural looking flushed cheeks and lip balm. Usually achieved using a cream blush apply to the apples of your cheeks and you’re good to go. No frills and no worries to usher in the weekend.
