There are two types of people in this world: those who plan their Halloween costumes months in advance and those who wait until the very last second to make a decision. No matter which side you’re on, classic feline makeup paired with all-black clothing is a costume anyone can achieve. Dare we say you can’t go wrong?
Scroll through this simple four-step L’Oreal Paris Halloween makeup tutorial to get the Halloween cat look right.
What You’ll Need: L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Monos Eyeshadow, L’Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner, NYX Professional Makeup SFX Setting Powder, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Goldmine, L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Feline Noir Mascara and Colour Riche Lipcolour.
1. START WITH BLACK EYESHADOW
Dust black eyeshadow over over your entire eyelid using L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Monos Eyeshadow in Noir Cest Noir. Diffuse the shade just slightly above your crease.
2. USE A FELT-TIP EYELINER FOR YOUR CAT-EYE AND FRECKLES
Using a felt-tip eyeliner like L’Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner, draw on a thick, dramatic cat eye starting from your inner corner and extending to wing the tail of your eyebrow. Line your lower lash line with eyeliner, as well. Using the same black liner, dot on freckles and smudge them just slightly with your finger to create whiskers. Follow with a setting powder to keep them in place. To emphasize that piercing stare, outline your cat eye and lower line with a thin application of metallic gold eyeliner.
3. ADD DRAMA TO YOUR LASHES
Make your lashes stand out long and strong with the ultra-glossy L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Feline Noir Mascara. Because what’s a fierce feline without dramatic lashes.
4. PAIR YOUR LOOK WITH A NEUTRAL LIPSTICK
Apply a natural-toned lipstick, and layer it with a hint of gloss to complete the look.
